Author Biography

Federico Lega, University of Milan

Federico Lega, PhD, is a Full Professor of health administration at Public Health Department, University of Milan, where he holds courses in healthcare management and policy for medical students and leads the Research Centre in Health Administration (HEAD). A member of hospital administration boards and local health agencies, he is a consultant to regional health departments, national health agencies and insurances, and the World Health Organization. He has been the President of the European Healthcare Management Association (EHMA) and the Chair of its scientific advisory committee. Since 2015, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the research journal Health Services Management and an Associate Editor of BMC Health Services Research and the Medical Care Research and Review. He has published 8 books and over 150 journal articles.
