About the Press

The Open Access series of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Milan State University,  di/segni offers books available to view online and download in E-Pub format for free. Books are also available for purchase in print format. We promote research in English, French, German, Spanish, Scandinavian and Slavic studies, both in their European and extra-European dimension. We publish monographs, brief essays and collections of essays occasioned by conferences or research workshop held in Italy or abroad. In this way, we aim to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge ensuring the wide circulation of our professors and young researchers’ studies. Our volumes are the result of a strict process of selection and control. Sharing the results of our research, we aim to increase the international visibility of our department, to foster dialogue with our peers and collaborations in the field of digital publishing and to release information to the wider society.
