Parità di genere e professioni legali: un lungo cammino

The paper focuses on gender equality in the legal professions from the perspective of Italian constitutional principles. First of all, the study analyses the debate in the Constituent Assembly and some emblematic sectors, such as the judiciary and the legal profession in law firms and companies. The analysis includes a general reflection on the laborious implementation of the principle of equality after the Constitution came into force.
