La storicità del diritto nella formazione forense, oggi

Synopsis

For some years now, the history of medieval and modern law has struggled to gain recognition as an autonomous, defined, and non-fungible role in professional training by legislators and (unfortunately) forensic institutions. This applies to both recent law graduates and legal professionals, especially lawyers, and has likely led to a gradual exclusion of the discipline from the ongoing reforms and the ensuing scientific debate. Now, we must ask ourselves: what responsibilities, if any, do we have as legal historians? Can this trend be reversed? And, if so, through what practices?
This brief contribution aims to rekindle a discussion on these topics, without any claim to exhaustiveness.
