Rosalba Maletta is Assistant Professor for German Literature at Università degli Studi in Milan. Her researches range from psychoanalysis of creativity to the exploration of linguistic and semiotic mechanisms, particularly the way absence affects representability in the so-called shoah-literature as well as in contemporary literary works. She also explores how Freudian Kulturarbeit impinges on post-utopian instances in urban literature with particular attention to Western globalised societies. She publishes and edits books as well as several essays on these topics. Hes most recent publications include the critical edition of unpublished works by the poet and writer Durs Grünbein, Il bosco bianco.
