UniMissions – Escape from the Center of the Earth is an educational escape-room dedicated to geosciences and the exploration of Earth’s interior, combining gamification mechanics, problem solving, and narrative exploration. Through a deck of 88 cards, players take on the role of a geologist travelling from the Earth’s core to the planet’s surface. The game integrates scientific questions, educational insights, and hidden clues used to reconstruct the geographic coordinates of a mysterious final treasure. It introduces concepts related to Earth’s internal structure, deep geological processes, seismic waves, volcanism, and the materials that compose our planet, transforming geoscience learning into a narrative, interactive, and participatory experience.
