Tra testo letterario e tradizione musicale: spunti veneziani
Synopsis
The investigation of the musical tradition of lyrical texts could be im-portant to delineating cultural dynamics and, in certain circumstances, to studying philological implications, such as textual variants and hypotheses for dating poems. Focusing on musical adaptations of Domenico Venier, Sperone Speroni, Girolamo Fenarolo and Girolamo Molin’s rhymes, the article aims to analyze the Venetian context of the 16th century, character-ized by many intersections between musicians and poets.
