Tracce di feste e celebrazioni nel lucus Pisaurensis
Synopsis
The so called lucus Pisaurensis, founded ex novo in middle-Adriatic Italy in a territory colonized viritim following the Lex Flaminia de agro Gallico et Piceno, is a sanctuary of health where cults for the protection of life, the family, and birth rates were celebrated. This article investigates the possibility that the lucus, in addition to being a place of private devotion, was the context of celebrations with wider participation linked to the festive calendar.
