The series Filosofia e Scienze Umane is edited by the Piero Martinetti Department of Philosophy of the University of Milan and publishes volumes in all areas of philosophy and history of philosophy, as well as in those areas of the human sciences that naturally end up dialoguing with philosophy.
The Saggi e Raccolte section publishes scholarly monographs, textbooks and works of popular scholarship, as well as collections of essays. The Lectures and Conversations section, by contrast, brings together series of lectures delivered at the Piero Martinetti Department by visiting professors and scholars, sometimes accompanied by a conversation between the author and a member of the department.
