Author Guidelines

Submission of proposals

The series will publish works:

  1. i) received, as a proposal, from the members of the Scientific Committee or from their research contacts/collaborators or, again, from Professors of the University of Milan, from any Faculty and Department
  1. ii) received from outside, giving preference, in this case, to works by scholars who have a study, research or teaching relationship with the University of Milan

Peer Review

The series will adopt the peer review methods envisaged by the institutional bodies, especially following the indications of ANVUR (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca), in order to allow for an accurate verification of the scientific nature and value of the proposal itself.

In particular, the peer review will analyse three aspects of the work: i) Originality: to be understood as the level at which the product introduces a new way of thinking and/or interpreting in relation to the scientific object of the research, and stands out and innovates with respect to previous approaches on the same object; ii) Methodological rigour, to be understood as the level at which the product clearly presents the objectives of the research and the state of the art in the literature, adopts a methodology appropriate to the object of the research, and demonstrates that the objectives have been achieved, and iii) Impact, to be understood as the level at which the product exerts, or is likely to exert, an influence on the national and international scientific community.
