Author Biography

Federica Bertoni

is an independent professional and researcher with over two decades of experience in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity. She has worked as a consultant, analyst, and lecturer, playing a pioneering role in advancing the legal and technical evolution of digital forensic science in Italy. A former Affiliate Scholar and Fellow Researcher at the Information Society Law Center, University of Milan, her current research focuses on critical infrastructure, state-sponsored threats, artificial intelligence, and cyber geopolitics.
She operates between the Middle East and Europe as a strategic cyber intelligence analyst, under a prestigious licence granted by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and officially recognised by the Government of the United Arab Emirates for her expertise in artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency-related cybercrime, and digital forensics. Her most recent work explores Space cybersecurity and its strategic implications for global governance. She regularly contributes to the “Centro Studi Politici e Strategici Machiavelli”, an Italian think tank focused on international affairs and strategic policy.
