Play your part. Climate Change Theatre

Authors

Margaret Rose (ed)
Keywords: climate change, theatre

Synopsis

The present volume includes an introduction and seven short plays that aim to entertain, while heightening people's awareness about the climate change emergency. The plays are the outcome of a series of multidisciplinary, online seminars devoted to climate change that the sector of Public Engagement at Milan University organized in early 2021.  The dramatists are citizens and university students who tackle the issues at hand from very different perspectives. It is hoped that the collection, in Italian and in English, will be read and performed in theatres as well as gardens, schools, universities and community settings in Italy and abroad.
